Parking is no problem in Almere. The city has generous car parks at all major event venues, free or at minimal cost. That is a big advantage over Amsterdam and Utrecht for large events with hundreds of guests arriving by car.

Schiphol is a 30-minute drive away. For international guests, that is a good option. Organising an event in Almere means almost no logistical headaches: the infrastructure is modern, spacious and functionally laid out.

Almere is considerably more affordable than Amsterdam. Venue hire, catering and services run 20 to 40 per cent lower than in the capital, while the quality is comparable. For organisations that want a professional event on a sharp budget, Almere is an excellent option.

For a mid-sized event (100 to 250 people) in Almere, count on a total budget of €40,000 to €110,000. Smaller events (25 to 50 people) for €6,000 to €22,000. Large events of more than 1,000 people for €200,000 or more.
