What we ask of you, and why
If you fill in the contact form:
We ask for your name, your email address, your telephone number and your message. Nothing more. We use it to answer you and to arrange a meeting. The form also contains a hidden field. It catches spam robots and you never see it.
If you fill in a brief:
The briefing form asks about your event: the occasion, the date, the number of guests, the budget and your wishes. Your name and contact details go with it. We need it to put together a proposal that makes sense.

Then we record what is needed to make it work. Think of agreements, participant lists, dietary requirements and invoicing details. If you tell us something about health, an allergy for example, we use that for that purpose only.
We share data with the suppliers who deliver the event. The caterer gets the dietary requirements, the hotel the names for the rooms. Never more than necessary.
If you call or email us:
Then we have your number or your address. Only logical. We keep that conversation for as long as it is useful and no longer.

What this website records itself
Visitor numbers:
We measure how many people come and which pages they read. We do that with Google Analytics and Google Ads. That way we know which pages work and whether our ads deliver anything.
Those scripts only load once you do something on the page, or five seconds after loading. If you click away straight away, we do not measure you.
Recognition of business visitors:
Two scripts look at the IP address to see which company someone is visiting our site from. Those are ProspectPro and HappierLeads. We see the organisation behind the IP address, no names and no email addresses.
The basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which companies find us. If you would rather not, email hello@live-impact.nl. Then we take your visit out.

Cookies
Google Analytics and Google Ads place a cookie on your device. It lets us see whether you come back and whether an advertisement leads to an enquiry. Those cookies expire by themselves, or you delete them yourself through your browser settings.
The two scripts that recognise business visitors work on the IP address and not on a cookie. So they do not follow you to other websites.
How long we keep data
• An enquiry that does not lead to an assignment: twelve months.

We do not sell your data. We also do not pass it on for other parties' advertising.
What you can ask for
You may know which data we hold about you. You may have it corrected or deleted. You may have the processing restricted, object to it, and receive your data in a readable file. If you gave consent for something, you may always withdraw it again.
Email hello@live-impact.nl and we will respond within a month. We may ask you to identify yourself. That way we avoid handing data to the wrong person.
Security and complaints
The site runs entirely over https. Our mailboxes and files sit behind a password with two-step verification. Event files are not stored on this website.
Cannot work it out with us? Then you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority through autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. We would appreciate it if you tried us first.
Changes
If anything changes in the way we handle data, we will update this statement. The date of the last change is shown at the top. Dutch law applies to this statement.
