That depends on venue, number of participants and time of day. For venues outside town centres, a shuttle service is the best solution: sustainable, collective, no parking stress. With a shared departure point, a group coach is convivial and efficient. At car-friendly venues, good parking communication is enough.
At evening events with alcohol you always add a return option: taxi, Uber code or late shuttle.
The rule of thumb: make it easier than easy for participants. Every barrier you remove increases attendance.
