A staff party is primarily aimed at relaxation and fun for existing staff. An employer branding event has a broader and more strategic goal: strengthening the employer image, both internally and externally.

At an employer branding event the message is central: who are we as an employer, what do we make possible, why is it good to work here? The content and the programme are deliberately set up to tell that story. Sometimes the audience is wider: candidates, interns, alumni or business relations are involved too.
