The cost varies widely by format and scale. A café session for 40 people at the office costs little more than coffee. A staff day for 800 people with a programme, catering and entertainment is a bigger investment.
As a guideline: expect €50 to €200 per person. That covers venue, catering, technical production and programme. Entertainment or an external speaker comes on top of that. More important than the budget is the lead time: start at least eight weeks ahead.
