A venue that is well connected by public transport scores best here. Such a venue sometimes reduces emissions by 50% or more. That's a substantial difference from a place only reachable by car.
The second biggest impact is catering. A plant-based menu has a CO2 footprint that is 30-50% lower than a meat-focused menu. So always start with venue and catering if you want the most sustainable return per euro and per decision.
