Within 24 hours of the event, ideally the same evening or the morning after. The faster you gather feedback, the more honest the answers. After three days, people only remember the extremes. Keep the survey short: maximum 8 questions, a mix of closed questions (NPS score, satisfaction scale 1-10) and open questions (what was the most valuable moment, what would you do differently). Every extra question costs response rate. Combine the survey with live feedback on the day itself, such as a feedback wall at the exit or short conversations at the cloakroom.
