Kemkens 175 years: an anniversary party for the entire workforce of a family business turning 175. The challenge: how do you celebrate such a milestone in a way that fits who you are? With down-to-earth pride and enjoyment. We built an evening around the company's history, with entertainment that brought the house down. The result was a room full of laughing people and a director who said he'd never expected it to be so beautiful.

Togetherland: a family day and staff event for thousands of people, with multiple spaces, entertainment for young and old and festival-scale logistics. This proves that scale doesn't have to mean concessions on quality.

Reviews about event agencies are more reliable than in many other sectors, because clients attach their name to them. They're HR managers, office managers and communications professionals who were internally responsible for the organising. They don't give five stars if the night fell flat.

When reading event agency reviews, watch for a few things. Check whether real names and companies are listed. Assess whether the collaboration is described or only the result. And check whether there are also less positive comments, and how the agency responds to them.
