The costs of trade fair participation depend on the trade fair location, stand size and ambition level. For a medium-sized stand of 20 to 40 square metres, expect a total budget of €25,000 to €80,000. That includes stand hire (€3,000 to €15,000) and custom stand construction (€800 to €2,000 per m²). In addition, technology and AV, graphic production, catering and travel and accommodation costs fall under the budget. The stand hire is often the smallest part; the real investment is in a strong stand concept and good preparation. Always compare the costs with the expected lead value to determine the ROI.
