Count on an average occupancy of 1.8 people per car at a corporate event. With 400 guests that means around 220 cars. Bear in mind that not everyone comes by car. With good public transport access, around 60 to 70% of guests drive, the rest take public transport. Does the venue have insufficient parking capacity? Arrange a park-and-ride with a shuttle, point to car parks with a parking pass, or actively communicate public transport alternatives. Always include the parking advice in the invitation.
