For a half-day seminar you need at least 8 to 10 weeks of preparation. For a multi-day seminar or a seminar with external keynote speakers, count on 3 to 6 months.
Speakers are booked up quickly. Popular moderators too. So start earlier than you think you need to, especially if you have specific names in mind.
