How big is an average symposium?

Most professional symposia have 40 to 120 attendees. Smaller than 30 is a workshop; larger than 150 loses the dialogue atmosphere.

For deep substantive debate: 40–60 attendees. For networking and visibility: 80–120. Always choose a venue that's full with your numbers.
