AI can recommend a programme, not design one. Based on attendee profiles, a recommendation algorithm can suggest which breakout sessions are most relevant for whom. That's a valuable addition for large conferences with lots of choice. But the creative concept, the programme logic, speaker selection and dramaturgy stay human work. AI doesn't understand why an opening moment is emotionally important. It also doesn't see why a particular order builds energy in the room. Designing an event programme calls for creativity and context AI doesn't have.
