Formally, the local council requires a safety plan for public events with more than 250 attendees. For private corporate events, that's not a legal requirement. But if you expect more than 200 guests in one venue, a well-considered crowd control plan is sensible. At 500+ guests it's essential. Think: entrance management, routing plan, capacity calculation per room, team communication protocol and emergency scenarios. For outdoor events or events spread across multiple floors, these considerations already apply from 150 guests.
